Meta is testing a feature in Germany, France, and the U.S. that integrates eBay listings into Facebook Marketplace. Buyers can browse eBay items on Marketplace and complete purchases on eBay, offering eBay sellers exposure to Facebookâs audience and Marketplace users a wider selection.
The test follows the European Commission's $840 million fine for alleged abusive practices related to Facebook Marketplace, a decision Meta is appealing. The company says the collaboration addresses concerns raised by regulators while enhancing user experience.
