Nvidia Unveils RTX 50 Series and AI Desktop Project DIGITS at CES
Next-gen GPUs, cutting-edge AI tech, and investor excitement define Nvidia’s latest announcements.
Nvidia thrilled gaming enthusiasts at CES in Las Vegas with its next-gen RTX 50 Series graphics cards. CEO Jensen Huang revealed the RTX 5090, priced at $1,999, alongside the 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070, costing $999, $749, and $549, respectively. Using "Blackwell" architecture, the cards launch Jan. 30 for the 5090 and 5080, with February availability for the others.
The series supports DLSS 4.0, using advanced AI to double RTX 4090 performance. Huang also introduced Project DIGITS, an AI desktop featuring a GB10 Blackwell Superchip capable of 1 petaflop AI performance. Starting at $3,000, it debuts in May. Nvidia shares rose 2.5% premarket, following Monday’s 3.4% gain.
